Back in January we saw that Toy Story on Ice was coming to town, so we immediately bought 6 tickets! Unfortunately, GPop was unable to come since he is still recovering from his colon surgery, but Granna came and we had the BEST time! Jason and I declared it the best live performance we've seen. The kids declared it "glorious!!!"

Granna caved and bought the green army men hats! One came free with the program. But since we have 2 little heads to cover, she asked if she could buy one more hat. He sold it to her for $5. When we got inside, the same hats were selling for $15 each! What a bargain!

The boys were MESMERIZED!!! Our seats were on the 2nd row of the incline, so they were really good. The only bad thing was all the people on the floor getting up to buy hot pretzels or holding their kids on their shoulders so they could see not thinking about the hundreds of people behind them that could not see now. And did you know that Disney Ice shows cam be a public school field trip??? We saw HUNDREDS of HISD school age kids. I wonder if they paid $28 a picket too?!?!?!?

The Green Army Men song was one of the boys favorites! Of course, when you mention a song, that is the favorite for that moment, but this one has remained at the top!

All of our friends were there - Mr. and Mrs. Potato, Jessie, Woody, Slinky Dog, Rex, Barbie, Ken, Lotso, Stretch, Andy, and Buzz!

But the boys favorite surprise character was ZURG! They did not breath during this part! Buzz flew in with a fire-trail and defeated Zurg after an intense battle. The creators did a great job weaving TS2 and TS3 into an Ice Show.

Another favorite part..."The Claw!!!" Rylan must have said "The Claw" and "We are eternally grateful" a million times! He's got a really good alien voice too!

Jacob waving good-bye to all our friends!

After the show, we surprised Mom with a lunch treat...Cheesecake Factory! She's never been and LOVED it! (Seriously, how can you NOT love CF???)

Rylan loves to "tw-o-r-l" (twirl) his noodles. That boy is a noodle loving boy!

And our dessert trio...30th Anniversary, Red Velvet and The Original. We cut off the tip of each to take home to GPop.

The boys chattered for at least 25 minutes as they showed GPop the program. It was a GREAT day of family and Disney fun!

(PS - Happy Birthday today GPop!)
