With all the stress and exhaustion of March we decided we needed a day with just the 4 of us to relax! So Jason took a day and we headed a little north to look at bluebonnets. Along the way, we stumbled across this little gem - the Antique Rose Emporium in Independence, TX. It was a park/garden/nursery. The boys LOVED it and so did we!!

There were a couple of book scenes. This was the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. There was a metal Toto across and way and a mailbox from Kansas too. The boys did not know the movie, but Jason and I thought it was cute!

This was their favorite scene - Mr. McGregor's Farm from Peter Rabbit! They loved all the details...from the watering can to the words on the shovel, to Peter's torn coat. It was neat too!

If you are ever near Independence, it is worth a stop!
