Tennis Camp

Our dear friend in the head tennis coach at our high school and he offers a tennis camp every summer.  The boys were still a little young, but he made an exception for them! :)  They had never picked up a racket before, but they loved it!  After the first day, they were complaining that it was hard.  But each day, it got a little easier and they enjoyed it more and more.  Here is Rylan working on his volley.

 It was really good for the boys to need to work hard at something.  It was good to have to listen to a coach.  And it was good for them to see growth in themselves.

 At the end each day, they played a race game where the coaches threw balls at the kids and they tried to dodge them.  HUGE hit!!!

Since camp, we have not practiced again, but I still see tennis in our future!
