My sweet Jacob is back in the backyard basketball area most afternoon - along with my sweet Rylan. They can only stay out about an hour before they are melting... but they go out until they cannot stand the heat anymore (or I make them come in!)
They like to just practice shooting, play HORSE or have "Imaginary Games." I have to say, they are really getting good at shooting and getting some defense basics!
But one day, Jacob floored me. He did this all on his own! I think we have a little Rick Carlisle on our hands! He drew the Xs and Os and the lines where each player was supposed to go. I wish I would have written down his commentary, because it was fairly accurate and totally awesome!
