After all the sadness and irregular routines of the past two weeks, Mom and I were determined to make Easter normal and special for the boys. After a glorious worship service, the Sab's joined us at Mom and Dad's for the annual egg hunt!
The Bunny left some full baskets of treats! The boys could not search for a single egg until the basket had been gone through!
Jacob gives the BEST reactions in the world to gifts... this was opening a Jason Witten jersey piece trading card. Score one for the Bunny! He has placed the card in a very special place on his dresser.
Rylan got an Aaron Rodgers jersey piece card. He was so in awe that he could not look up and smile! He just kept saying, "This jersey touched Rodgers!" He was SO excited!
They also got Bible Sequence. We love, love, love Sequenec for Kids and this has become a new family favorite too!

These three... they searched high and low and were so sweet to help each other. Wonderful memories in the making!
It was a hard day for Popa, but being with these sweet boys made it better. Granny was a holiday lover too...

Lunch was warming in my oven... HoneyBaked Ham, green bean casserole and PW's Potatoes AuGratin. It was YUM!!! Heather also brought her famous Cherry Fluff and we were all SO glad!

And the traditional Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This year I made the one from the Mrs. Wilkes House cookbook that we bought on our Bird Trip to Savannah. It got RAVE reviews!
I hope your Easter was wonderful too and that even with all the fun activities that you were able to focus on our Savior.
