This year we rang in the new year FLAMINGO STYLE!!! We all went to Pat and Robyn's about 5 and ate more than should ever be consumed in an 8 hour time period! We grazed on pizza, queso, veggie trays, cream cheese and pepper relish with crackers, chex mix, chocolate covered pretzels, Mexicali black-eyed pea dip, too many chips and other stuff that I can't remember! Before the party got going, we had to take a few pics in front of the tree!
Here is 2/3 of the flock! We missed Lacie and Lyndsey!!! As usual, then the Birds get together, there is lots of LOUD laughter!

And the men folk... Reid is officially with the men folk! We love our husbands for many reasons, but especially for putting up with all our crazy pink antics! :) hahaha
And as usual, the men folk played hours of washers... even in the cold!
About 10:30 we got out the sparklers! This was the kids favorite part!!!
Pat and Robyn do not have cable, so the guys were watching the Gator Bowl on Reid's phone. They HAD to cheer the Aggies onto victory over Duke. It was cute to watch the men folk!
We watched the ball drop in NYC and then played more board games until midnight our time. At midnight, we busted out the hats and blowers.

I love this man and cannot wait to share 2014 with him!
As the kids began dropping like flies, the adults started playing CatchPhrase... for about 3 hours! We loaded up the sleeping kids at 3:15am and went home.
On New Year's Day we stayed in jammies all day and recovered from staying out WAY too late! Starting off 2014 with our best friends was the perfect way to begin the new year!
