Yes - we did! We celebrated Dr. Seuss' 108th birthday with several of the boys little friends. It was a super fun afternoon... and we already are planning next year's party! haha
To start off, we made the cutest handprints of Thing One and Thing 2...

After reading The Cat in the Hat, we tossed a little Thing One into the fish bowl.

Then I read Green Egg and Ham - it was actually a read along. Most of the kids could either read along or had it practically memorized. It was really sweet to hear all their voices reading together!

Then we had an egg relay with spoons. It was a little chaotic, but the kids had fun!

Then we watched "The Sneetches" movie. The kids love that show! It is the boys favorite Seuss story. They specifically requested the Sneetch Machine this year... here are all the Sneetches!

We played "Pin the Star on the Sneetch." HUGE hit!

Then out came the Sneetch Machine! They went in without stars and came out with stars... then went in with stars and came out without stars. They did it for about 15 minutes, which by party time is LONG! This was the BIG HIT of the afternoon!

Then it was time to eat! Thanks to Pinterest we had these treats...

And just in case you are wondering... in south Texas humidity cotton candy melts in about 15 minutes... This is cotton candy round 2! And of course, the Cat's Hat pizza was a fave too!

Can't wait for more Seuss-y fun next year!
