Italy!

This summer our friend Allison went to HUF. We love Miss Allison! Kim taught her twice in the high school girls class and we got to be close. I love to hear her HU stories! I am so proud of her and the fine young woman of faith she is blossoming into more and more everyday! Miss Allison has baby-sat the boys several times while home on break and the boys LOVE her! She played Candyland one time for over one hour! That's a great baby-sitter!!!

While in Italy, Allison got to tour so many places!!! While visiting the castle Poppi in Tuscany, she saw some toy swords and shields and immediately thought of Rylan and Jacob. So sweet!!! So she bought each one of them a handmade sword that comes in a holder with a belt loop! They are beautiful!!! And she also got them the red shield to share. And she got me a beautiful rustic journal from Florence. That is one thoughtful girl!!!

Needless to say, the boys LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! They ran all around the auditorium fighting and have not hardly put them down since then! We even picked a special place to put our "Miss Allison swords and shields" in the play zone.

Thank you for thinking of us while you were over-seas! We prayed for you everyday and love you to pieces!
