Children's Museum

This year we got a year pass to the Children's Museum,so we have been trying to go at least once a month. It is a great museum and the boys find a new favorite every time! This time the new favorite was the "build your own roller coaster." They would piece together ramps, loops and straight pieces then let the balls roll! It was great fun!!!
Granna went with us and that was a treat! Here we are in a Mexican village. There was a shoe making store that the boys really enjoyed.
The tree house and slide. Rylan is confident that Jason is going to build him one just like it...the only problem is we don't have a tree!
The Kid Town was so crowded, but we did manage to buy some groceries...
visit the vet to help a dog...
and make lunch at the restaurant. Rylan is an excellent burger chef!
And Jacob brought spaghetti and bread!
Rylan was really wanting to go outside for the water part. It was about 100 degrees, so we did not stay as long as some trips. But the boys built boats and Granna helped them float them through the path.
Momma's favorite game... tetris live!
Another fun math game!
Rylan loves these phones! We talked for about 5 full minutes on them! He would cackle with glee!!!
More water time... the boys worked and worked to help fill the 240 gallon tank. When it spilled, they were soaked! But they loved it!
Jacob's most exciting thing... the rope swat ride... much harder than it looks!
Notice the punk in the blue? He tore the defibulators out of Jacob's hands and shoved him to the ground. A certain momma bear MAY have used a teacher voice to reprimand said punk and he left almost in tears. Don't mess with my baby!
Overall, it was a fabulous day at the Museum...already looking forward to next time!

Annelise read this post and insisted we add Children's Museum to our end of summer list. You'll have to prep me again about the best (better?) times to go to avoid (better tolerate?) the day camps, etc. :)
