Our church has a really neat program called Apple Kids. At the beginning of each school year, all the school age kids names are on a paper apple. Members of the congregation pick an apple. Their job is to pray for that child every day and get to know them throughout the year. Mrs. Sondra is the boys apple prayer adult. She loves Harding as much as we do and she has brought them several HU treats throughout the school year. For a "just because" present, she gave them Hardingopoly.
This might possibly be the BEST game ever created! Each property is a place at Harding. And as we play it, I babble on and on about my memories of that spot... Cathcart Hall (where Beth and I lived), Pattie Cobb (where we took JuGoJu pics every year), Trip to Heber (where Daddy jumped off the cliffs), Benson (where we WON Spring Sing) and on and on and on!! The "Bison Cards" are also hilarious because they are true! Missing Spring Sing practice, muffin chapel, checking your mail in the Student Center and on and on! So much thought was put into each Harding detail!Thank you Mrs. Sondra for giving us this game. And thank you Harding for making a super fun game night for our family as we stroll down memory lane and brainwash the boys to go there too! :)
