Go Bearcats!

This it is Thanksgiving in this family, then football MUST be involved!!! Jason's high school was in the play-offs, so we went to cheer the Bearcats onto victory! The game was at UNT's new stadium. It was a pretty stadium! We sat next to a ramp so that the wall would block the wind. THe wind was gusting at 50 mph! We almost got blown over while walking to our seats! The boys LOVED this view! They stood here for 10 minutes watching the players warm-up and ooohed and aaaaahed over the Bearcats.
Grandma and Grandpa joined us for the freezing game! Jason even went to buy him and Martha stocking hats! It was in the low 40's during the game. Yes, we are crazy fans!!!

It did not matter that we were turning into human popsicles, we were still ALL SMILES!!!

Going into the last minute of the 3rd, we were down 19-0. I looked at Jason and said, "You make the call - we can stay as long as you want or leave when you want." He said to give it a few more minutes. The Heath Hawks kicked-off with :55 and the Bearcats ran it back for a 98 yard TD!!! The momentum swung!!! Over the next 12 minutes we drove the ball 2 more times and pulled ahead 20-19. Then they scored a TC with 1:47 left in the game. We drove that field and scored!!! It was so exciting!!!! In the last :46 I took two different bathroom runs with each boy. We ran back and forth and barely missed any of the game! Needless to say, all of our throats were hoarse. We jumped and screamed and high-fived! It was the BEST 13 minutes of football I've ever seen in person!
GOOOOOOO BEARCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!
