Battleship BD

The boys best friend is Blaine. He is a wonderful boy who recently turned seven. His mom is a Flamingo, Lyndsey, and I could not be more thrilled that my boys love and look up to Blaine. Blaine had a sleepover for his BD party and I did not think that the boys were quite ready for a night away from home, so we had a special BD outing for just the three of them. And since they are constantly making battle plans and talking battle, we decided to make a trip to the Battleship Texas! It was a perfect day - overcast, slight breeze and TONS of fun for the boys! They spent 85% of their time on the guns. The other 15 % we forced them to tour the ship! hahaha Here's Rylan shooting the bad guys...
What we saw all day!
We all got a laugh out of the beds. No one wanted to sleep on them since they were so close together!

We wanted to see the engine room, so a nice worker man led us through the maze of a ship to the room. The boys all loved it! They barely stopped long enough for this photo with Mrs. Lyndsey! They loved all the doorways with turning handles and steps.



They were determined to life the anchor chain! They tried and they tried, but it was too heavy!




After touring the ship and killing off lots of pretend bad guys, we had a picnic lunch and the boys played with a cannon. It was a perfect day with wonderful friends!
