Candy-polooza 2011

In an effort to document our lives... here is a recap of Halloween, better known as Candy-polooza 2011! Our church hosted a Trunk or Treat again this year. It was Sunday PM after services and was perfect! They added hot dogs/chili pies to the regular candy getting and it seemed to foster much more visiting and kid play-time. It was great! Here are the boys with the BFF, Blaine, a member of the swat team! The three of them pretty much stuck together like glue!
Getting treats from some of our fave people... Mrs. Daesha and GPop!

The annual photo with Macy and Annelise! These 4 melt my heart!!!
At pre-school there were 2 days to treating. On Wednesday, they went the the "Head Shed" and treated with all the Superintendents, secretaries and curriculum heads for the district. They spoiled the kids! The treat sacks were over-flowing with GOOD stuff! Thank you CCISD!

Back in the class to pick one thing to eat!

Then on Thursday they treated ALL DAY LONG... that's right 7:30-12:30 they were walking the halls of CCHS gathering treats from the HS teachers. This year I stayed for all three sessions and I was pooped! We came home and all 3 of us took a 2 hour nap!!! Here is the first set of teachers...
The drill team made a fun arch for the kids to go through...

The girl in gray was one of my fave students when she was a first grader...now she is editor of the school newspaper and quite lovely! I'm proud of her!
The boys were enthralled with the lockers...
Here's the second group of teachers...
Already getting tired, but still loving on each other!
After two days of school, here was the loot. This is before trunk or treat at church! Needless to say, we donated quite a bit to Bible Hour at church and other worthy treat boxes around town.
However, these have been a keeper!
