Leading Up to Christmas

This is the last of the things we did leading up to Christmas. A local church puts on a SNOW morning every year. We went last year and had a blast, so it was on our "must-do" list for this year. We were running late, so we did not get to spend as much time as we would have liked to, but it was still wonderful! Here's Rylan on the slide! It was "Awesome!!"

And now it's Jacob's turn - "unbelievable!"

Then we went to the snow play area. It was really crowded, but the boys loved slipping, sliding and touching the snow.

Another night we met with the Flamingo's for a Family Fun Night. We started at Spring Creek and had a good meal. We planned on going to the Lights, but it started raining, so we went straight to the Sab's new house. The men-folk (young and old) stayed upstairs playing basketball and chatting.
The little girls mostly played hide and seek and ate. They are too cute and silly!
And the mommas! We missed Lyndsey's bunch and Lacie's too.

Once 10:30 rolled around, it was movie time...
Another day was Gingerbread Man making time...

And we also made cut-out cookies!

A new thing this year was Gingerbread Houses. This was SO much fun! I think it will become an annual tradition!

Rylan made a Mavs themed house... complete with jersey numbers, "MAVS" and mostly green and blue decor!
