We found this book at the library and it was a perfect intro to this project!
This was such a fun project! I cannot remember where I got this idea...it may actually be a "Kim original!" I made a 26 square grid on a piece of poster board. Then the kids glued a punched oval with the capital letter written on it in each square. Then we looked through catalogs and junk mail on a search of capital letters. Here's Rylan cutting out letters.
Then they glued the cut-out letter into the matching letter square.
Ta-da! Look at all the letters we found!!!
