Penguin Numbers

To practice cutting and counting, we did this fun activity! I wrote the numerals 1-9 in bubble numbers on construction paper. Then the boys cut out the numbers. As with most little boys, cutting is a challenge for my boys. They are both improving, but still need lots of practice! Then they put that number of penguin stickers on the number. Jacob really loves playing with stickers, so this was a HUGE hit with him!
Here's the finished product!
I wrote the number word after all the stickers were stuck. We counted orally many times and sequenced them together before hanging on the wall. It was a fun morning to kill 3 birds with one stone!
