Jacob is still obsessed with armor and battles. This is how he looks on any typical day...several times a day. The shield and breastplate are from the $ Store and the sword and bucket/helmet were a party favor. I love that he has at least one arm guard on and that Daddy's boots complete his armor. We've been talking about the armor of God. Still a little over his head, but it makes me feel better about all the battles with the Philistines that we have on a daily basis. In the words of Jacob... " Guh-ttack!!!!" or "Run for your lives" or "Send out one man to fight me..."

When they get a little bit bigger, you should introduce them to Bible Man. They learn about fighting off the "bad guys" by using the Word of God. One of the videos has a song at the end about the armor of God, and it's Caleb's favorite. His Bible class talked about the armor of God one Sunday, and he could rattle off the whole thing, thanks to the song!
Word of warning though--it is EXTREMELY cheesy!
