Children's Museum

It's no secret that we love the Children's Museum!  Since the boys are in Kindergarten this year, it has really cut down on the frequency of our visits.  So over Break, we made sure that we got to go one day!  It was exciting to see a new store in Kidtropolis... the mail center!  We will miss the bike shop, but this was really cool.  The kids got to scan the items, weigh them and use a map to load them by zone on the delivery truck.

Then they got to take turns driving the truck!
And the cycle repeated over and over and over...
Then we went to the Police Station to help direct emergency calls.  They thought this was SO cool!
Their inner CSI came out as they tried to match the shoe sole to the footprint from the crime scene.  I was impressed with the reasoning!
After we ate lunch, it was time to explore the pedal cars.  There were hundreds hanging on the wall in the main hallway.  They had 2 down for kids to get inside of... Here's Rylan!
The boys were a little disappointed that it was not a new country in the country area.. it's been these islands for 6 months, but it was still fun to churn butter and go food shopping using recipe cards in the market.
We ended our day in Cyberchase.  This was really great because the boys math skills have increased so much since October and they really solved many games that we had previously been giving lots of prompts.  Growing up... sniff, sniff!
Thanks for another great day at one of our favorite places!
