Halloween 2012

All summer the boys kept hashing and hashing who they would be for Halloween.  We went from super heroes to football players and everything in between.  Then in August we went to San Antonio and saw the Alamo... that sealed the deal.  The boys HAD to be Texas Revolution Heroes.  Rylan was Davy Crockett...
 and Jacob was Jim Bowie.
Finding Davy's outfit was easy... thank you Amazon!  Jim's was a little tricker.  Jacob had specific things that the outfit needed.  Luckily, we found it on clearance at a local Halloween shop. Coupled with an Indiana Jones hat, he was magically Jim!

We had a fun Halloween... the night before Rylan's OT had a reunion party.  He was THRILLED to see Mrs. Pam!!!
Then on Halloween, we went to Bible Class and then had Trunk or Treat in the Fellowship Hall.  Here they are getting candy from GPop!
With their secret agent spy friend, Annelise.  If I could access my old photos easily, I'd do a montage through the years of these three... makes a momma's heart melt!
And here's the fam... tricking and treating!
 And with GPop and Granna!

During the day on the 31st, the boys had a "Pumpkin Fest" at school... not a party, no candy allowed!  They had AWESOME stations and loved each one.  The hardest part for me was planning both parties and trying to go back and forth between the two rooms, but it all worked out perfect!

Here's Rylan at the count the spiders station.
Then he made a pumpkin hat... love the face!
In Jacob's class, he made a photo frame that turned out super cute!
Jacob and Mrs. Reed - we ADORE her!
Granna came and manned a both in Rylan's class - Thank you Granna!
Rylan was eating his decorated cookie and used lots of black icing!
And Jason was also able to come and go between the classes!  Here he us helping Jacob with his pumpkin hat!
