Rylan's absolute favorite NFL player is Aaron Rodgers and his favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. They rarely come down to Houston to play, so when we saw they were coming this season, we knew we HAD to get tickets! Rylan could hardly handle the excitement of seeing the Packers live!!!
Jason and I were a little nervous about bringing two little Packers into the Texans Stadium, but the people around us thought they were so cute. They even gave the boys high fives when the Pack scored. It was the best possible scenario.
This awesome pennant was only $5!!! It now hangs proudly in the boys sports room as a reminder of our awesome night!
It was breast cancer awareness night and they had pink posters in all the seats. It looked really cool!

Once the game started though, Rylan was Mr. Serious! He could barely even cheer - nerves, overwhlemed, excited, the loudness of Reliant. Whatever the cause, this boy was almost speechless.

When the Texans scored, Jacob was sad...

Once the Packers were up by 3 touchdowns, Rylan could breath and that awesome smile came back!!!
And Jacob's too!
But Jacob was still nervous of a Texans comeback and held my hand...
But the Packers won and handed the Texans their first loss of the season.
It was a GREAT night... even if we did not get home until midnight!

That was a long night for me too and I only watched it on tv! I bet the boys were pretty tired the next day, but I'm sure they wouldn't have changed anything about the day before! What a great experience for them!
