Early in February, the boys had their first big field trip to the Aquarium! It was POURING down rain, but once we arrived, it was wonderful. This first photo is from last year. Notice how tall the boys are on the height chart...

And this was this year!!! Look how much my little penguins have grown!!!

Mr. John and Miss Taylor were the teachers assigned to the boys. John was especially interactive and involved with asking the boys questions. Both were great teachers and so good to my boys!

They LOVED the touch pool. This was the first Aquarium trip that they were brave enough to try touching the critters. Rylan loved touching the starfish. He stayed here for 5 full minutes! His sleeve got soaked though... no big deal.

Jacob was still a little apprehensive, but after Rylan loved it so much, he got brave. He loved the starfish too!

The penguins were our first, middle and last stop! The penguins got SO close to the glass and with Baby, I was able to get some really good photos! Look at this chinstrap penguin! Rylan said he must be a Packer!

Here's the King penguin. His coloring was so beautiful!

Look at this Rockhopper and his attitude!

We ate lunch in an empty banquet room. After eating our PBH's and apples, the boys ran and ran with their buddies. I snuck away and got them each a smashed penny. They were thrilled when we got home to get them. Rylan snoozed on the bus and Jacob did not. When we got home we all took a 2 hour nap! Can't wait for our next trip to the Aquarium!
