L is for...

Now that pre-school is out, the boys declared that they NEVER do any learning activities! hahha So I decided to get back into our habit of letter games and crafts. Math games are also coming!

I inherited some teacher stuff that had a great handwriting book. So I'm following that book and we started with lowercase l. We did some oral games and then went on an L hunt around the house. Here is what we found
Abe Lincoln, many lions, a leopard, Lion King, Linus. laces, ladder, lemon. Later that day they added a Robert E Lee figurine!

The next thing we did was an L craft straight from No Time for Flashcards. The boys made a lighthouse! First they painted the water. Then they drew a big rock. Then they cut out a lowercase l and glued it on. Next, they put on fish stickers in the water and added glue with glitter for the light beams. It was an overall HIT! They loved using so many different supplies! haha
