We did not have any plans for Memorial Day weekend as of the Thursday before. Then we got a wild hair to go bowling with the Flamingos... after some rapid emails and lots of fun decisions, we decided to spend the same amount of money and rent a huge water bounce house for 7 hours of fun! All in all, it was the BEST decision possible!!!
Pat manned the grill and cooked burgers and hot dogs. We grazed on watermelon and chips all day! Here are the precious water babies taking a snack break!
The kids LOVED this water slide! They would stand at the top and yell at the top of their lungs, "Don't ever try this at home!" Then they would do some crazy flippity slide down the slide. It was hilarious to watch and they loved every second of it!!! We'll be doing this again very soon!

The mama birds! It was so nice to sit on the porch in the shade, grazing on chips and watching the kids as we chatted the day away! I love these friends!
Dessert!!! Robyn out-did herself with the sweets and we sure did eat all of them!
Rylan found these goggles and was being Horace Grant from the mid-90's Bulls! Gotta love my vintage sports boy!

Rylan grabbed a lizard and Mr. Pat rubbed it's belly until it was asleep... CREEPY!
Rylan and Blaine carried that lizard all around the yard and took him back and forth to the pool, to the bush, to the pool, to the bush a zillion times. This was Blaine's first time to grab a lizard! He felt so brave!
Then the boys got to feed the huge rams... so many fun critters in one day!
After all the animal and water fun, we went inside about dark and chatted some more. It was a great way to spend Memorial Day with our best friends!
