Our sweet Flamingo Friends, the P's are moving to Oklahoma. As a group of Bible studying mamas we are so sad to miss Lyndsey's insight into scripture.... her love of coffee... her blunt truth in love... her laugh... her love of her family. Goodness, she is a good Godly friend!!! As a group of mamas, our kids love each other! Blaine is the boys best friend. They are so sad that he is leaving... when Kannon and Brden moved, they were too young to remember, but this one... it hurts. Those 3 boys are three peas in a pod... they love trains, battle, running in the park and just being silly together. Blaine is two years older and is an excellent role model for our boys to look up to. And Kyle... him and Jason are also two peas in a pod... same humor and likes. So all in all, we love the P's and will miss them like crazy!
Lyndsey kept saying it was "just Sunday lunch" but the other Birds said, "whatever" and we had a mini party! Heather reserved a room at one of our fave restaurants and the fun began!
You'll notice some strangers in the background... since the restaurant goofed and put some other people in the room. Due to the goof, we got 2 free quesos!! YUM!The three salt-a-holics! They came up with a "Salt Plan" in preparation for lunch. The plan was for Jacob to hide the salt from an adult in his "leg pit" (AKA knee) and then sneak the salt while the mamas were talking! They know us too well! hahaha
Two of my favorite friends!
Another of my favorite friends!
All the fellas!!!
Let them eat Tex-Mex!!!
We surprised the P's with a Texas flag so that they will always have a bit of Texas influence in their home!!!
Almost all the Flamingos!
We wanted to soak up all the minutes with the P's that we could before they left, so Sunday night after church we all went to Heather's house for dinner and visiting. Jason and I were at the church until 10 finishing up VBS stuff and they took great care of our kids! Here are the fellas again... a little more casual tonight!
Two little darlings were pooped!!!Prom style with the mamas!!
