So we are in the dreaded "cone of possibility" for Tropical Storm
Edouardo. Truly this is a small storm in the grand scheme of storms. And living on the coast, these storms are a part of life. Here are a few signs from around town that people are getting "storm hysteric."
LONG gas lines...

A helicopter flying over our neighborhood - this never happens.

And here is the calm before the storm... a view from our front yard.

I did cave into peer pressure and get water...

and more canned goods.

Eduardo is
supposed to make landfall around lunch time on Tuesday. We are planning on lots of rain, lots of wind and lots of inside fun! Please pray for a safe storm!
And while Momma was preparing for Edouardo, the boys thought they were HOT STUFF in their new shades!

Rylan loved the zebra shades. They got them for their prizes for reaching the next level in the Summer Reading Club.
