I cook
Jacob's new favorite phrase is "I cook." He asks for his own "ape-in," "schoon," and "bowl." He loves to stand up in a chair next to me at the counter-top and watch me cut veggies and he is great at helping to stir the ingredients together.
The other night we had grilled corn... and Jacob loved peeling back the husks!

You are so sweet to let him help you. Joshua has told me that he wants to be a chef for the last two years now. But Joshua is more the Alton Brown type!
How precious! Our sweet Jacob! It is so neat that you let him help you. He comes by it honestly, because his Daddy was such a good worker & loved to help me in the kitchen when he was little! If he turns out to be half as good a cook as his Mommy is, he will still be a wonderful cook!
